Why are sweaters necessary? How to have fun with sweaters.

If they are thin napped or hairless, they need a knitted dog sweater. The dogs that do need are the small dogs like miniature poodles, Scottish Terriers, all Miniature Daschunds, Minature Schnauzers, Minature Fox Terrier, Jack Russell Terriers, Beagles, Chihahuas,  Shih Tzu, Pugs as well as medium sized dogs - Rottweilers, Bulldogs, Dalamations, Boxers, Air Dales and large dogs such as Greyhounds, and Great Danes. Hope in her snapback knitted sweater	What type of sweater is best? For colder climates the sweater should fit the dog over the back, neck, and leg holes. The sweater should be warm (preferably wool) and durable.  All of our sweaters are made from wool and made to measure so that you should not have any issues with fit.  The fit should be comfortable. If you add our knit dog accessories of leggings, which will keep the legs warm, and hat, which will keep the ears warm, your dog should be protected. The rule of thumb is that if the temperature is freezing 32° F your do need a dog sweater. If the temperature is significantly lower than freezing your dog needs more protection and still should not be left out in the cold for an extended period of time. They will need dog sweaters even if they are just going out to relieve themself. If the dog comes inside wet, you should remove the clothing immediately, towel dry the dog, and use a hair dryer to dry the dog.
